I had a brief couple hours today where everything was just right. I was watching Pulp Fiction (phenomenal movie), doing sudoku, had my cat on my lap for a bit, answered the door for a package and got the mail while I was out, it was a nice temperature outside. Now is it good that it was a nice temperature (high 50s) in the middle of January? No, probably not, but this is about the good parts of the couple hours... I was home alone, too. That's the real reason I was able to relax. The people I live with... we don't get along very well. And it's hard for me to relax with people around.. I always think they're going to walk out and catch me doing something.. pulling a weird face or my hair looks horrible (my hair always looks horrible right now though. Cut my mohawk too thin in the back so I don't put it up but then the front looks like bad bangs)
Pulp Fiction, though. Oh my god. It was the first time I had watched it; I hadn't even seen clips or heard a synopsis or anything. It was amazing. I loved the broken up time and the way they did it. Usually when I see someone try to have a messed up timeline they flip between scenes back and forth, but this one had structure. It was large parts with multiple scenes and you always got invested in the storyline. They even managed to end it in a place where you want more!? I love Butch so much and that scene about the watch was so funny.. There were a couple scenes that made me uncomfortable (mostly with Mia. Especially the dancing...) but it still was amazing. I might just be a wuss but seeing characters in movies and shows do stuff that's embarassing makes me think about how they're actors doing that, it isn't even sincere! They don't even know each other and they have to do this awkward shit! I can never watch kissing in movies. It's too much. I've always covered the screen when people kiss. And why do some movies want you to watch it so much...
