I skated the other night on better ice. It's all gone now, at least the good ice. All that's left behind is slush and chunks caused by the tires of neighbors and delivery drivers starting to use the streets again. It was really fun and made me really miss playing hockey. I don't think I'll ever play in a league setting again, plus beer league is non-checking?? Come on.. But anyway lol, the most I'd do is some pick up with friends or something. If I make friends that're into hockey in the future.
Earlier I was watching some youtube and came across a video about Quinn Hughes being the best defenseman in the NHL. Good video, really showed that he is literally so high above the rest (there was a very impressive graph). I was a fan of him a couple years ago when I followed NHL a bit more closely, but Canucks suck so I wasn't a /huge/ fan. But then I find out he was traded to Wild last month??? I also found a website to stream games without needing a streaming service, so I watched part of his game tonight. I hope they win the cup. I was never interested in Minnesota before though, so I don't know anything about their past in the playoffs. They are #3 in the league right now though and have Hughes now so they'll make it for sure.
And I found out yesterday my favorite band is coming here on tour in April!! Amity Affliction. Been listening to them for like 2? years? All their songs are masterpieces. It's not confirmed yet if I'm going, but I sure fucking hope so. Gotta buy tickets and figure out transportation and such..
I've had a pretty inconsistent fucked up sleep schedule, which is always so entertaining to me. I fell asleep at 7am and woke up at 10 just to go back to sleep from 11 to 3? what a day! The next day I passed out at 7pm and woke up at 9am? And right now it's 1am? How comical.
